Regular Gatherings

We meet on the First and Third Sundays of every month.  Our doors open at 10:00 am and our Eucharistic Liturgy begins at 11:00 am.   In the near future we will be meeting every Sunday.  Watch this space for an announcement.  

 Our next gathering is on August 1st.   The Readings for Sunday:  Ecc 1: 2; 2: 21-23.  Psalm 90: 3-17.  Col 3: 1-5, 9-11, and Luke 12: 13-21.  

   We open the doors at 10 am so newcomers can come early and ask questions before the liturgy.  Of course, our regular members often come early, too, just for that extra time to visit.  All are welcome!  Feel free to just drop in.   

   We share leadership for the celebration of our Eucharistic Liturgies.  Our priest is David Gerardot.  Go here to see pictures of Deacon Kedda's ordination.  

Time for companionship.  
    Bring snacks to share!  After our Eucharistic Liturgy we like to hang around together and catch up with each other, and of course -- eat!  

 Business Meetings

As for business, we like to take care of that on Sundays, too.  We usually meet right after celebrating liturgy.  Our leadership style is collaborative, as we believe in shared leadership.  All members may participate in the decision-making process, and in fact are encouraged to share their wisdom with each other.  

Administration:  a couple of us take care of the little things that come up between meetings, and will consult with other members by email or phone when necessary.

Feast Days.  To the best of our ability we celebrate all the major feast days of the Church.  It is best to check here to see what is coming up next.  

Retreats, etc.  
    Watch for retreats, special events and other occasions to get together.

All excellent faith communities are the result of the full, active participation of the members.  Spend some prayerful time considering the ways that you will participate in Emmaus ECC.   All of us have been given many gifts for the sake of the community. Do not be shy about letting your contact person know what gifts you have been given to share.
